Graphic Design and PrintingFirst impressions are important.
Do you use different printers for different print jobs?
Ever notice differences in the layout and style of your printed pieces?
Different typefaces and even variations in your logo and its placement?
That's not surprising since each print company has its own typesetters, each with their own ideas and style. Of course, your own design staff would eliminate these problems.
Your printed materials create that first impression.
Your printed materials and your website should work together to present a consistent image to the world. Please note that graphics created for use on the web are not good enough for a printing press. They can be pretty online but terrible on paper. To convert web graphics to printable quality is a lengthy, often expensive process. Graphics created for the press can be modified quite easily for the web.
